rediscovery

now replaying an old game: chrono trigger

its amazing how such a magnificent work of art can be produced with technology more than ten years ago! (the game was released in 1995)

it fuses great gameplay with a captivating storyline, set in various time periods - jurassic, middle ages, modern day, and technologically advanced future
music is nothing short of impressive as well, given e hardware limitations of the super nintendo system

technology doesnt seem to be a limitation in producing great games like this, so pls wake up, the entire gaming industry. recent game releases are all riding the wave of great graphics, totally masking their lack of any real gameplay. if u wanted good nice pictures coupled with melodic musical masterpieces, go watch a damn movie la! play games for wad. its like u have to press the game buttons to make e movie proceed likedat

my dream is to design and produce my own computer game haha. came out with this monster 1v1 slaying word-based programme in sec2, and a few mods here n there, but no progress after tat. oh, and i told my sec2 class ill make a rpg game specially for em, even let each of em choose their unique character stats. haha. wunder if i still have tat piece of data sheet

ppl will say tat playing video games are a waste of time. but isnt wasting time even easier in the real world? start working and join in e rat race, neverending bills, neverending wish lists. get depressed by e ugly side of society and live feeling down and not getting anithing done right. blame e world for all its sufferings yet stay trapped in constant self-pity. time is not make used even when not playing games, ill argue

video games are like drugs without the side effects. haah. no addiction unless u are mad enough to play one game 15hrs a day. tats ur own problem w ur life dun blame e game. when played in e right amount i feel there's a sense of reward, definitely happiness, and a great topic when out with fellow nsf-no-lifers. hahah. video games bond teh male population together! a rare feat considering how divided this half of the human species are usually
